The Bible is a book intended to be read, studied, and understood by God's children. One key to grasping the intended meaning of a passage is to be familiar with the various literary devices in scripture. From a message entitled Understanding the Bible, Pastor Winslett defines, with biblical examples of each, a few of these linguistic techniques.
