In the Lord's Supper, Jesus used two items present at Passover to symbolize His body and blood respectively - unleavened bread and wine. Jesus, doing nothing unintentional, chose these two substances because of certain inherent properties within them. The unleavened bread, being free from leaven, depicted Jesus' sinless body which would be broken for His people. The wine, exemplifying His purifying blood which would be shed for many.

In this broadcast, we consider interesting parallels between wine and the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
